nowt wrong with frozen dumplings. just make sure you don't get the ones that are made in a bath by people from the wrong part of china who can't even afford shoes and don't cut their toenails.

I walked through Chinatown today. I thought it was a bit busy, and now I feel really dumb listening to the New Year stuff on the radio.

@Cazakstan gave me some amazing chilli jam the other day, nice warmth with loads of flavour!

I bought some local hot sauce yesterday after eating some in a cafe. Mama V's hot pepper sauce from somewhere in Newham. Tastes a bit like Encona but comes with extra smug. I bought some honey and hot pepper dipping sauce too, which jiggles in a funny way but will hopefully taste nice.
Though I've just realised I forgot to take it out of my bag earlier, and we're on the train to the airport now with hand baggage only. Fuck.

Twice in similar situations (except with pocket knife not hot sauce) I managed to find a hiding spot in the airport. Then, when I returned, I retrieved it. Maybe try that? Or put it in your plastic bag with your toothpaste.

• #20149
It's too big for the latter, 125ml.
I'll try and find a Jiffy bag and a post office in the airport. Hamburg Airport came up trumps for posting a socket wrench last summer, let's see how Stansted compares. I'm not confident.

Down in one, down in one...
It's good though. Have you guys tried it? I have only once but totally would again. It's like a delicate fish mousse. Except, you know, spermier.
