  • Thankfully the club have reacted already and if previous experience is anything to go by they won't be lenient to these pricks.
Chelsea condemn fans who pushed black man off Paris Métro

    http://gu.com/p/45qtg

  • Pure class

  • It is possible to condemn racist behaviour, without going on to say "but"...

  • Chelsea were awful last night - played like it was the 90th minute for the whole of the second half.

  • Totally unacceptable behaviour.

It is gratifying to see it condemned universally by Chelsea supporters. It is also interesting to see that no one recognises them and yet tickets were only on sale to people with a very high number of loyalty points which should mean that they would be known by a number of people from previous matches. Presumably they got their tickets from touts.

  • A Chelsea board possibly identified one of them on twitter. Said person went on to act the big man before making his account private.

  • @dan
are you implying chelsea parc-ed the bus

  • A Chelsea board possibly identified one of them on twitter. Said
person went on to act the big man before making his account private.

I was sent a link to a tweet but it was deleted before I could open it. Hopefully that means that he will be identified and his nasty friends will as well.

  • Or that lots of Chelsea fans are closing ranks, rather than admit that some of their fellow supporters or friends are fucking imbeciles?

Anyway, in football that matters, it's all gone quiet over where @roboto and @Ramsaye normally are. Rotherham are a pretty slippery opponent, eh? Shame you guys have got the budget for talent like Bent and Ince, it was nearly quite interesting last night!

  • I believe they crashed the bus whilst attempting to turn into the car park

  • I'm sure it was probably Millwall or Hammers fans trying to make Chelsea look bad

  • PSG had a glut of players out, though some weren't going to be in the match day squad for this match, so hoping they are at full strength for the return leg. PSG are going to have to score so I'm expecting more of the same from Chelsea, as in defend, hold your shape and nick a goal on the break somewhere.

Thought Pastore showed some gumption and desire when he came on for Lavezzi, willing to try and pick a pass and/or take on a defender. Wonder if he will start in the return leg?

Just to mention it again, but Matuidi was fucking excellent last night...

  • Eh? We got a better result than your lot did against them and are still in a better league position than you. I think we knew it would be tough after their recent results. I didn't expect us to be so leaky in defence. I think that's the first time we've conceded more than 2 in a game this season.

Also, I'm not sure what our playing budget it is, so I find it hard to understand why fans of other clubs seem to have a grasp of our finances. We've spent relatively small amounts on transfer fees. We're not paying all of Bent's weekly wages (if reports from his signing are to be believed) and Tom Ince is paying for himself at the moment with 5 goals for us in his 3 games in a Derby shirt. Some of our fans believe that we earned a decent amount of money from the play off final last season and our cup runs this season boosted the coffers for our January additions. We're a well run club now with a squad that the rest of the Championship seem to envy. I'm happy about that, but I'll be happier if we get promoted.

Still all to play for, we're not making it easy for ourselves, but Bournemouth dropped points at the weekend, Boro play tonight, and I'm sort of hoping that there confidence got knocked with the way Arsenal beat them at a canter in the cup.

It's funny that you've got a bit cocky after your team won for the first time in 5(?) matches. :)

  • *2nd time in 2 matches

  • We're underdogs, which means I can be cocky all year. Even if we finish 6th and scrape the play-offs we've overachieved.

  • There was no shame in being outclassed by arsenal, we can take confidence that it was only 2-0 with them playing like that. We mostly kept our shape under intense pressure from an exceptional midfield.

  • Those meatheads on the metro need a good kickin'...

  • Sorry, I stopped looking for your results when the wheels started to buckle underneath Mick's massive head.

I don't think you can really call yourselves underdogs, you're a team that is always fighting around that end of the Championship, it just happens that you are slightly higher up the league than you normally are at this stage of the season.

  • I'm hoping for the opposite. Surely, after the way you played against Citeh, you should be looking to build on that performance and test yourselves against Premiership competition.

I'm still hoping that dented your teams confidence a little... please.

  • The problem we have is the problem that all the promotion contenders have, the relentless grind.

  • Ha, our entire team cost £10k till we bought Freddie Sears, our two previous managers were Paul Jewell and Roy Keane, and our 'star striker' had an abysmal goal scoring record before he joined. How can we not be underdogs? The last time we were in the playoffs was 10 years ago!

We're a renaissance team, that's why the fans are so happy.

Not like Boro and Derby with their ex-Champions League managers and top-4 PL loans.

I have a lot of time for Bournemouth though, most of what they have achieved has been Howe's hard work. I hope it's us and them come May, you plebs can fight it out in the playoffs.

Universally? I saw a load of affiliated fans just standing there not making any kind of stand.
