I'd have said "I'm not going to miss anything, in fact I'm counting down the days until I leave this Godforsaken rock and take my rightful place in the annals of scientific history. Now leave me to my space maths, you filthy media person."

Going round in circles a bit here.
The fact that it's for Newsbeat actually changes my opinion for the better - apparently girls believing science is not for them is a problem. Not the only problem or obstacle, as the girls who ignore such things and go for science anyway, discover. But if it's "not for girls" it's even more "not for girls who are into shopping and mascara", so yay, positive role models.
My opinion of it was rather less when I assumed it came from a tabloid.
