i have next to no knowledge when it comes to carbon and stuff but i would definitely +1 what Chak said. you'll save money in the long run as well because dentists are really expensive.

pretty sure these are old bianchi forks, ive had a set which did the same, cracks around the join. i dont think it would fold on you unless you rode them really hard.
even so - if theres any doubt with forks it really is best to cut your losses and bin them or make a bedside lamp or something from them. theyre not worth much more than £20 anyways.

So, you are descending at speed, hit a pothole or wotnot and the next thing you see are angels with harps or imps with forks...

Ok, have no experience at all with carbon forks, but this is what I was expecting. So scrap, and looking for another fork!

thinking about it, i would still ride them to be honest, looking at how theyre constructed and the thickness of that coat filler, it's no surprise the filler cracked. i dont personally think they would give that easily and its only the filler thats looking bad, which isnt a structural part. if youre going to scrap them i would be curious to see how easily they would snap, easy to find out too, just throw it at a wall forks first or drop it etc.
definitely throw them out if youre in doubt though

I think some of those forks with the alloy crowns used to fail at the join, didn't they? Not from experience - just hearsay.
New forks are cheaper than new teeth!

The cheap way of converting your road bike into a Cannondale Lefty
I'm building up a beater for one of my friends. Aluminium frame with carbon forks that have the following 'problem'. Is this safe to ride? The cracks open up a little bit when pressure is applied on the fork blades, but they still feel quite good. I removed the paint on the metal part of the fork with a dremel tool...
Ride it or scrap it?
