• Is this for a geared rear Wheel?

    I run a 32 Tune hub laced to a 24 hole 56mm rim on the road bike. Standard 16spoke 2x on the drive side, and 8spoke 1x on the non drive side. Means the spokes have Close to Equal tension despite the dish.

  • Ah ok, so that sort of wheel is feasible. It's for a grand bois 120mm cassette hub, just toying with a few ideas at the moment and looking at my bike parts box.

    Dish shouldn't be too harsh, as it'll only be 6 speeds...or perhaps 7 if I can squeeze in another cog at 10 pitch or 11 speed pitch.

  • The Extreme dish of a 10/11 speed Wheel. Is what makes the tension even on each side. Despite one dside having twice the spokes. Should still work though. I'll post a link to a handy tension calculator after lunch.
