Stiff-up your brush: paint porn

Hoops that looks great, was thinking something similar for my custom in a couple of months. Matt grey with gloss white and neon yellow splashes.

Neon yellow splashes would be tricky, as neon yellow needs to be applied over a white basecoat, otherwise it comes out a funny green colour.
Neon colours also have very poor colour fastness, which means they will fade very quickly in UV light.

I'd opt for a very bright lemonish yellow if I were you, as it will give a better finish.

I'm usually one for matte black bikes, but this has really tempted me...!

I've got a frame and fork in the garage that I'd love painted like that, I just think it'd cost too much money!

Have we had this? On the bay at the moment.. Frame is ridiculous!

Yes, using the colour flip paint.

Thanks! It took a few tries, but wasn't overly difficult. It was odd that I actually had to use a dark red colour adjuster to to give the translucent pink paint a lighter colour.
