Thanks, but i have also a NOS Sachs 8 speed freewheel 13-21.....but I and my friend in the bike shop tried to use it on the Fir Halley and it is impossible to do....
we would change the axle with a longer one, but then we must enlarge the rear part of the frame to assemble the wheel...and my friend is not agree :)))I know that little enlargement on a steel frame is not a big problem, but i don't want to risk...:)
I have the ergopower Record 8 speed first version of 1992-93....but there is a problem :)
The team director told me that they used 7 speed on this frame.....because usually time trials bike had less gear than a roadbike.....
some of the cyclists of that team used shifters on the downtube.....Others used bar-end 7 speed shifters.
Now, i don't have 7 speed bar end shifters....so,for the moment, i will use 7 speed shifters syncro c-record on downtube :)
And i have only 7 speed lenticular wheels....not 8 speed....if i find a 8 speed discwheel i will use the ergopower :) but for the moment i have a Fir Halley and a Campagnolo ghibli both 7 speed freewheel....
