I'm sure both riders welcome the competition, and I for one hope that both make it through the year--it makes it more interesting to see the different approaches. I also hope that it's a classic battle in the making--you know, British pluckiness, sheer endurance, and doing it on a shoestring against American speed, brashness and resources. :)
Searvogel won't be able to ride in Florida when it gets really hot, and I think he said somewhere that he will be moving north then, whereas if all goes well Steve should have a good summer.
Fingers crossed for both of them.
