• There is no recall as such for MBPs in the UK with that problem as far as I know, but my 2011 model is being exchanged with a new logic board because Apple knows there is a known problem. You should have no problem getting it fixed free of charge, particularly if you got it from the Apple store or with Apple directly. If they are being difficult about it, tell them you want to make a claim under the UK consumer rights law, which gives you 6 years protection. If you didn't get it from the Apple store or Apple just wouldn't fix it for free for good reasons, it would cost you nearer £400 to get ir fixed with Apple directly, as they gave me a quote despites it being free of charge, so I know the cost.
