Added to the watch-list.
Apparently Smiley's People (with G.Oldman) is happening at some point.

+1
Alex Garland in charge – could be amazing.

Which means they're leaving out The Honourable Schoolboy, again. Shame.

I've not read any of that trilogy but will probably read Smiley's Peeps. Do you recommend the second book?

All three are masterful. THS is probably difficult to film, it's the longest and the politics are maybe a bit dated now. Smiley's People is on iplayer:

(Lucy Fleming is in it, niece of Ian)

I'm avoiding the series until I've read the book!

Big Hero 6, fun for all the family, sensitive handling of bereavement issues and a black hole type sequence that made more sense than Interstellar.
Also watched Nightcrawler again, did anyone notice the nice but pricey product placement?

Just got back from seeing Kingsman.
Lots and lots of fun. Would watch again.

I actually said 'Wapha!' out loud I recall

Inherent Vice was great, how anyone can walk out on it is beyond me.

The Shaun the Sheep movie is really funny. That is all.

Watched "You and The Night". Fair effort, feels a bit like a play and not fully balanced but some wry jokes, and enjoyed anyway. If you like that sort of movie you'll probably be entertained, not in my top 20 though.
I've "the untold story" too...dare I watch it? Probably won't improve my view of humanity :P

Has anyone seen The Color Wheel ?
I found Listen Up Phillip (2014 and also by Alex Ross Perry) fairly hilarious so thought I'd give it a go.
A step too far into fucked-up mumblecore I think but it looks good and is funny.

predestination.

Duke of Burgundy at QFT Belfast - Plot somewhat thin, but gorgeously shot and ultimately about a relationship with unconventional tastes w/o the GLBT and bdsm just being dumb tittilation.
Hardware - Bit uneven unfortunately (not quire gore, not quite full on distopian, bit overcooked in parts)/but strong female characters always a win.
Don't watch Shivers while eating...I lobe bodyhorror too bad Cronenberg stopped making it.

mildly amusing power rangers short. it's actually pretty good, considering the source material.
contains AAACTINGGG! and the guy from dawsons creek.

The Eight Immortals Restaurant: The Untold Story. Bodyparts wash up on a beach leading to a restaurant...the previous owner and his family have disappeared. You can guess the rest...
Lots of not very subtle humor about sexism by cops/moral corruption in the police with a very well plaid role of the killer.
One for the gorebeasts, seen most of the "rough" movies people brag about, the last half did part make me feel sorry for the killer, even though he clearly was a sociopath, so plot/acting success imho.

Thinking of catching It Follows tonight. Very well reviewed.

Hmm, Not sure I've seen the first one. Was it about a robot from the future who learns origami from Sarah Connor?
^ going to see it later, can't wait
