Hmmm. The Kojaks are 35mm wide in their 28" size but 50mm in 26" i.e. these are real "balloon tyres" in this latter size only?
And Planet X says the AL30 are fine for 35mm: http://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/WPPXAL30DTR/planet-x-al30-d-track-wheelset
For the record, the usual tables mention that a 19mm rim like the AL30 can get tyres till 50mm!
But the AL30s are track wheels indeed.
I would say you can keep them for any tyre getting into a Pompino frame (i.e. till 35mm?) - but other guys here may think otherwise?
Edit : see however Heldring's comment next page and Sheldon: http://sheldonbrown.com/tire-sizing.html
You won't be able to fit a 50 mm tyre or anything above 35mm on those wheels because the internal rim width is only 13.6 mm.
I run 32C Challenge Grifo's on 15 mm internal rims and I gotta say cornering sucks.
