If that's the first time since 2008 then yep, you've prob got approx one billion permissions to repair. Maybe even too many for one sweep, maybe, that's just a guess though (I think I have experienced something slightly similar though). Do it 3-5 times, if it's not all clear by then maybe ignore or update.
This repairing permissions thing....should it endlessly find permissions it needs to fix. After reading the above I gave it a go on my 2008 macbook and there was plenty for it to repair. I restarted it, then checked permissions, and there was another lengthy list that it said it needed to work through. This seems to repeat over and over again...
The computer works fine for what it's worth so I'm not sure it's aything to be concerned about... Any thoughts though?
