Just remember to take your feet off the pedals on the cobbles to get the full effect. You'll also be sterilised for the rest of the year.

There was talk last year of people doubling their bar grip, extra gloves etc but the stretches of cobbles are so short, the next bit of tarmac is always just around the corner.
