Because I want proper mudguards. My cross fork has no way of mounting mudguards.
And this would mean two different forks = two different set ups. One for when I train/"race" cross. One for when I commute to work/"train" when cross is over.
Sell existing cross fork, buy a Kinesis PureCX which has both eyelets and a hole drilled in the crown to accept a mudguard bolt.
