I've still got a set of sprints that Dick Morris built for me c1978. 28spoke Ambrosio Durex on Campag. He told me never to ride them if I went over 12st!!! I did all my TT personal bests on them and they're still true.
Photoman - I'm selling my Brian Wilkins track frame - Brian took over Frank Lipscombes shop in Markhouse Rd. It was built for a clubmate and I've had it since 1980. Brian remembers it - his wife did the lug lining. PM me for pics & details.

Thanks for pointing that out ElGato - it's extremely very nice indeed.
The same seller has a really nice Bill Hurlow Condor on there too.

Withering attack of sarcasm?

Photoman, I am serious here. HR was a member of my club, the Lea Valley, and some of our older members ride morris bikes.
There are some large frames which have been left to the club which we want to sell but at " realistic" prices. We also have some peiod parts to go on the bikes.. pm me if you are interested. -

Perhaps he is not that serious....bit of a boaster.... Pity your HR frames are not small..53cm sq.

Dick was a lovely bloke...always had time for a chat and to show you the 'special' stuff he used to make in the back of his shop in Orford Road. I think it's now a gastro pub.
I even remember him TT'ing on the E1 once - I must have been a schoolboy so 1976ish.
One day I'll sell the sprints he built for me...but not yet......

EG . must join ERC ...please hassle me.
You can't be serious about Offord Road?...That has upset me if it is true....should be a blue plaque.
Regarding the wheels... Don't!

I have several H.R.Morris frames and complete bikes from my racing days. Plus a Paris frame. What sort of money are you willing to pay?

That's not spider, is it?
Hi everyone
I'm after anything - frames or bikes - from the fabulous 50s Walthamstow mafia builders - Tom Braysher / H.R. Morris or Frank Lipscombe - road or track - any condition.
Cheers
P'man
