Do you can stuff in those jars (by 'jar' do you mean the same thing as I mean by 'can'? Jar makes more sense, but what I mean is are you preserving stuff?)
I grew up in the country and my mom would can every damn thing during the garden-is-full-of-food months which we would eat in the garden-is-a-dead-tundra months. Those jars required a giant pressure cooker to seal and sterilize the foods. How do these work?
