That's an example of how not to ride

You'll be the first to know about it

Perhaps it would be for the best if you didn't leave your home again, at least on a bike anyway...
- Undertaking is for bellends. No debates.
- Overtaking other cyclists too close is a dick move. No excuses.
- Undertaking between a car and a pony. Dude. Are you out of your fucking mind? It's a HORSE. An ANIMAL. You have to treat horses cautiously. Everyone should think about being cautious with a horse around, why are you even debating this. If the pony got startled and hit you then unless it was very unusual circumstances then you were too close to the pony.
Please do let us all know when you're next in Richmond Park so we can avoid being there too.

Shit people, now I feel like I need some riding etiquette lessons.
No passing cars from left (undertaking)
No riding between streams of cars
no filtering stationary traffic...
Maybe there are some unwritten rules I should know about? -
• #2188
I am pretty sure highway code is written somewhere .. right?
-
• #2189
No undertaking is not an unwritten rule.
Not coming close to horses is clearly in the Highway Code.
You clearly need both etiquette and knowledge of how to ride.

Do you have a driving license?

common sense and self preservation should also play a part.
i have to admit though that i do the overtaking with cars coming the other way thing in RP when space allows. especially on that nice long down hill bit between richmond gate and ham cross(anticlockwise).

In highway code it does allow cyclist to filter stationary or slow moving traffic from both sides ( as much as I understand it)
-
• #2194
Couldn't find any no undertaking rull for cyclists in the highway code. There's an advice for motorists tho to look out for cyclists because they can filter stationary or slow moving traffic from both sides

You disobey Highway Code 185 and 167 when you did that manoverve at the roundabout.
If you sign up for a race let me know so I will withdraw my entry
