I'm going to goodwood revival, did enjoy the FoS but prefer track racing. Found a really sweet campsite a couple of miles away

Take a bike or be prepared for that couple of miles to take 2 hours to drive.

I'd be very interested in the price for a same colour respray+clearcoat for an 850 estate.
It's a constant battle to de-pink mine.

Which model? My 530 was mega sensitive to tyre wear, especially on the rear. Shuddering on the brakes over 50, turned out to be uneven tyre wear rather than the warped rotors or control arm bushings I was expecting. Weird.

It's a E46 318ti, but I've only just put some new rubber on it 2 weeks ago. I was looking at a few forums the other night - seems like a common problem and could have something to do with the steering coupling wearing out. It's not shuddering on the brakes, it just feels a little loose at speed.

Here are some more pictures of the Zonda accident from Dubai. Apparently he'd only registered it the day before.

Shit news about the Rangey, but amazing price for the respray. Are you happy with the job, I'm guessing this bodyshop is top notch?
So is classic car dealing your full time thing or sideline while you're at uni?

According to @jaw (his neighbour) he did have a bit of a limp the following day.
The strange thing it that all that damage happened on a stretch of road with a 40kmh speed limit. Granted I've been along there at just over 120kmh, but it'd actually be really difficult to do any more than that because it's a massive curve with sleeping policemen every 50-100 metres.
If I was in the market for a Zonda, I'd have to seriously consider just how much damage can appear to occur at relatively low speeds.

In slightly more exotic news someone managed to flip a car in Walthamstow last week, on a really short, slow stretch of road, I'm like u what?

Some cars can turn over...was it an SJ jeep ;)

If you look at the car, the passenger cell is intact, even the windscreen isn't broken. Cars are designed to dissipate the energy from impacts so the passengers won't get injured.

Balljoints and trackrod ends. Also, not knowing which bimmer you have I'd say check the steering box if you have one. My brother's 5 series had horrendous shaking, adjustment did nothing as it was fully worn out. all sorted with a second hand box. Wheel balancing can also have a massive effect.
Starting lessons as soon as I get out there, mother-in-law is loaning us her Mazda 'til we get sorted... Tho' I'm eyeing up their Hi-Lux as well...
And their little boat...
