Holland is quite a flat place and was built for a hill-less country. For all its advantages in carrying hefty loads, it lacks the practicality of a geared bike.....I think it may struggle to get up hills.
I am a sucker for 30s-50s aesthetic. Lead pedals, arsenic tires and asbestos paint will be winning out over functionality....... tho an electric motor is very tempting.
