Are there any plans to sort out tower hamlets? Or the main roads around Charlton, which seem to all be horrible dual carriage ways with a universally ignored 30mph speed limit?
Tower Hamlets is unlikely to see a radical new approach to its traffic management anytime soon, I'm afraid.
I'm not very well-informed about the London Borough of Greenwich, but there's an LCC mailing list you could try.

I liked the spiral bike bridge thing that popped up a while back, is it dead?
Do you mean the Rotherhithe-to-Isle-of-Dogs bridge that was part of Sustrans' GOAL2012 proposals?
They still seem to be pursuing it, the latest I can see is here:
http://www.sustrans.org.uk/news/talks-underway-new-thames-cycle-bridge
It should have been funded by the Olympics and would be a good project. Not very close to the alignment of your commute, of course.
They did a good feasibility study back then.
Edit: Either they or someone else has put up a web-site:

Bus drives a little angry this morning, maybe due to them not going on strike tomorrow. Two particular dicks, one sounding the horn while we were sat at the red light with a load of traffic in front. The other trying to take me out as I was in primary making a right turn, no other traffic could have easily moved to the left.
Still better than the train, 7.5/10

I was going to shout at a bloke for consistently RLJing for a few miles, then his rear mudguard exploded all over the road so I'm glad I didn't.
8/10, would dispassionately observe again.

Attempted murder I suppose you can call it when someone swings a one ton moving object towards you on purpose? Missing you by about a foot.
Anyway that's what happened to me this morning. I'm amazing how psychotic some people are and coming from a woman I was flabbergasted. -

Report if you can! When it's happened to me I've been too shocked to get a plate though.

• #4991
i know. only got myself to blame if something happens.

Yes getting a plate did not cross my mind. In my younger days I would have just turned back and removed a window or two with my lock , but I am old and sensible now, just a flick of the finger and volley of abuse and I was on my way
