Not really an update. I have started negotiations with CycleBaskett, however they are having none of it, and am getting ready to send the pictures off to dignate.
I have made limited progression with the cranks. I'm gonna leave the anodising on the under side off the drive side crank - for now - cause too much work (not the crank arm bit though). Almost done everything apart from fluting which am considering doing with oven cleaner? then still need to get autosol and polish.
The seatpost sitch: I may check out whether the 26.8mm seatpost works as @gereonb said, at the weekends. Otherwise I'll have to cut it down.
I still need some straps (white) for the pedals.
Apologies for the slow progress but coursework deadlines are starting to crop up now.
