Those bars, and Voigt and Brandle's bikes should also fall foul of the rule that says 'It must be marketed (i.e. available for sale on the market) or marketable (i.e. available for sale directly from the manufacturer, by subscription or through an alternative distribution network', but hey, I guess the UCI are just happy for some positive attention for a change and don't want to be seen as killing the record. Again.

UCI regulation 1.3.007:
"The use of equipment designed especially for the attainment of a particular performance (record or other) shall be not authorised"
