Good times!

After having hosted the German Championships twice in 2011 and 2012, we are happy to announce the first international bikepolo tournament in Hannover. From 05/22 till 05/25 we will open the gates to every poloscout`s wonderland. THE CAMP offers two hockey-rings with lights, a clubhouse with toilets and showers and a beautiful campsite. Also, every scout can cool down or just dig for some gold in a canal just a few steps away.

The main tournament will take place on Saturday and Sunday, courts and the campsite are opened from Friday till Monday. On Saturday we will do swiss rounds with a morning and an afternoon group, on Sunday a 32 team double elimination will decide who the REAL GANG OF THE CAMP is. It is important for us to give every team a decent amount of court-time. We are also concerned about good and constant reffing during the games, but we are still discussing how to ensure this. We will keep you updated, interested full time refs are welcome to contact us.

The tournament fee of € 45 per team includes free breakfast on all days during your stay at THE CAMP. Other delicious meals, snacks, coffee and drinks can be trapped cheaply. Be ready for our signature CAMP schnapps... There will be a big BBQ grill, where you can prepare your own food, which can be hunted in some supermarkets nearby. Furthermore, we will have some fun off-court games and surprises to test your ability to survive in the wilderness of Hannover.

On Sunday night, every scout who made it through this tough weekend of polo, adventures and childish nonsense will be awarded with a tremendous fiesta. THE CAMP`s resident DJs will move your tired asses to the early mornin'.

Registration will be opened on february 27th from 19:00 - 20:00 o'clock CET (GMT+1). Please send an email to bikepolohannover@gmail.com including:

From all incoming mails during that period we will then draw the happy 32 teams for the tournament. Unfortunately we cannot host anyone who is keen to attend THE CAMP, but we hope that you guys are ok with this method of distributing our spots.

fly from london! last time I looked was about 100 return with BA so no extra cost for bike

Trains are 200 euro and take about 6/7 hours....Tempting.

flights are from stan stead and cheapest atm is 86 pounds on Germanwings! takes 1hr15mins too!
fly 10ish on Thursday and fly back Monday afternoon as its bank holiday
