What does CAAD10 need? 47x2mm right?
-
• #480
Needs whatever I got for my caad x up thread somewhere.

Anyone had one made for an Alpina headset? #novernier

Do you have any of the 47x2mm low stack covers left?
-
• #483
Hi Do you have any for a Cervelo S2?
-
• #484
I have 45mm to 48mm in stock, I suspect the S2 takes the 45mm like the P-series bikes, but you need to measure and check.

Alpina headset?
Depends more on the frame than the headset. Also, Alpina seem to have offered different sizes of integrated headset over the years. Aluminium Dolans with 41.8mm (Campag/Italian) integrated bearings probably need a 47mm cover. You can measure across the top of the bare headtube with sufficient accuracy to choose a cover with the rule out of your school geometry set.

I didnt realise that you only stock 2mm ones now and the vernier was more for measuring that instead of across. Possible to do engraving ala the top caps?

Possible to do engraving ala the top caps?
It's possible, I suppose, but most of the headset cover is hidden by the stem. If you supply artwork and pay a price which will be set to discourage anybody else from asking, I'll happily take your money :-)

I've only ever stocked 2mm depth, other depths are custom orders.

Just checking whether you have any 47 x 2 left?
-
• #490
Don't suppose you have any of these that would fit a 1 1/4 steerer?
-
• #491
any 47 x 2 left?
Yes, I made plenty as that's a popular size.
-
• #492
any of these that would fit a 1 1/4 steerer?
No, I didn't make any 1.25" stock as I've only ever been asked for one. I can do them as part of a batch, but it won't be for quite a while.

Where should I measure? Sorry if you have written this else where...
-
• #494
The answer was buried somewhere mid-thread, I've pasted the measuring instructions into the first post now.
-
• #495
hi, do you have any 48mm in stock?
-
• #496
pm'd
-
• #497
I'll admit I have no idea about this, but do you have any covers for 1 1/4 OD2 headsets? Or any top caps for 1 1/4 stems?
-
• #498
I've got one plain black top cap for 1¼", no 1¼" headset covers but I have made some before and I can do again as part of the next batch, although that's unlikely to be soon.
-
• #499
Okay, what's the price for both?
-
• #500
£12.50 for the stem cap now, £10 for the headset cover in about a year from now based on previous form.
I've got loads of stock at the moment, it need a total of 40 pieces (customs + restocks) to initiate a batch, so don't hold your breath :-)
