Depends on why it's died, if the battery is buggered that's in the exclusions as a disposable/expendable part and fair wear and tear. Apart from that it should be covered but will be a pain in the ass to get someone at tesco to listen.
It's a non-replaceable battery, no idea what's wrong with it tbh... I'll try @n3il's suggestion, exhausting tho'...
