So 'underground' they have closed-off roads and full sponsorship. Pfft.

Nothing raw about warming up on rollers, just race a fucking alleycat.

Nue York and Nyrah Hearts, the “Brad and Angelina” of the underground cycling world
Those guys look so cool

Not clicking the link, that could only spoil the uber coolness of a thread title with the words 'street', 'tough', 'LA', 'fight', 'supremacy' and 'underground'.

Would. Left to Right.

10/10 would read again for lolz.
Now, who'd like to create a bike gang where we steal lunchboxes and hot pies from window sills?

"In extreme cases, it seemed bicycles were merely an excuse to get drunk"
Duh. Welcome to 1900 America.

there was a spanish guy here recently looking for something brutal, raw but when an alley cat race was put up in rides/races thread, he did not register any interest.

Wow, such street cred, many swagger...
-
• #12
I do that since years.....i need more ;-)
I'm after something simple, no complication of stupid accreditation, approval,....blabla. You find a nice quiet parking or road, straight or circle and you have a race with whoever want to. Alley cat is a different type of race i guess, i can be and have been stupid in the traffic but that doesn't reflect your physical ability (i wouldn't mind doing it for sure though).

Didn't Full City do something in Leak Street tunnel not long ago. I think that was 'drag' racing.

I can't really find anything really. Full city yes but doesn't sound from the website that it happen often? If i can find other guys tempted by that, i wouldn't mind organizing something twice per month where everyone can come.
I'm sure it must be possible to find some relatively quiet road to do that and change every time, even doing some uphill special around upper holloway / highgate. If some are interested, contact me as it is doable i think. Depend how many people, no point organizing that for 1 or 2 idiots like me who like hardcore stuff.

Ah FGL, not Full City. This is what I was thinking of. That location has the added thrill of broken glass/empty spray cans.

Too much security to pull off anything big.

10 people can clean the tonel in 30 min.
Nice place. Urban look:)
Anything like that being organised in london? I've been to the velodrome a long time ago but never in the UK. I will probably go to herne hill at some point but all the accreditation, initiation,....blabla remove all the fun out of it. I would love to find something raw, brutal and simple: you come and race. So if anyone know about that kind of race in london, i'm keen to get some info.
