I've had this bike in a number of setups; race a full cyclocross season on it, proto-mountain bike, commuter, low trail tourer, etc, and I'll be sad to see it go but it's time to get a proper mountain bike and unfortunetly I have no room or money for extra bikes. It's certainly no lightweight but is solid and dependable.
Frame and drivetrain has had a fair amount of usage but is in good condition. Few chips and scratches to the frame but no dents. Fork and wheelset are a few rides only and in very good condition. Brake blocks have been recently replaced.

Chris King Headset
XT Dynamo hub/Mavic A319 wheelset (currently with monster 1.8" Land Cruisers, available with lighter tyres if wanted)
Mostly Deore drivetrain (triple crankset, Sora short cage rear mech, 8 speed cassette and bar end shifters)
Salsa Bell Lap bars
Avid Single Digit 5 V-brakes with noodle adjusters.
V-specific cable pull Tektro levers
Thomson stem and seatpost (cut down to 29cm, should give plenty of room for adjustment. Bolts on seatpost head are rounded out/overtightened, quick bit of work with a dremel or a hacksaw and some new bolts should sort it out)
Tatty flite saddle
Supernova E3 Pro dynamo light and B+M USB werk charger
Surly Nice front rack
Time ATAC pedals can be included, as can Ortlieb city panniers, for a little extra.
I'm not really sure on price given the low-end (but entirely functional) drivetrain and all the extras but is £600 reasonable? Feel free to make an offer if this sits for a while with no interest.
