  • They only hold onto the ball because everyone else are so dreadfully shit.

  • easy tiger ... you on the desperados too ?
    ground out another clean sheet
SiMi is now 2nd or 3rd in the golden glove compo
if only we could find a happy medium of last seasons goals and this seasons defence ......

and when i said i had a downer on our creatives i didn't mean for them to both come off leaving StGe and his slow legs to do all the creating

  • Good point for your lot, Everton had you on the run...

  • oh aye

  • Spot on, as always, Mike.

    How do you do it?

  • I think it's my deep understanding and studious knowledge of the game.
It's turned into the Harry Kane love in in the papers and radio stations today, as soon as he fucks off to Real Madrid the better

  • nesbit in reply to @dicki

You're pissed. Sterling is by far your best player, he should be played in a central attacking midfield position beyond your striker. Which is one (just one) of the issues with your squad, you don't have a striker.>

Stick to what you know about.

  • How did the long ball merchants get on?

  • Daley fuckin' Blind.

  • Ah well.

Hope it will be a better weekend next weekend, when the LFGSS Tractor Boys head to Craven Cottage.

  • Danny murphy on motd was bang out of order to be talking about building an England team around him. Let him be this prolific next season. And then you can start the hype train running. Until then he's just another in form English striker.

  • Top lelz...

  • If you've never won a Premier League title you would think that.

  • Also, to be fair, if you never went to football then or now, it must have been a lot easier when all you had to go on was short snippets of football on the Big Match and Match of the Day, shot in black and white from a small number of camera positions. You could bs about the game and no one would be any wiser.

  • Oh, Mike...

  • Massive game up next away at Bournemouth on Tuesday.

Didn't realise this fixture is tomorrow. A win for 'Boro will see us move into the top 2 whatever the Derby result. We are away to Blackpool.

  • C'mon you tangerines.

  • I'll be shouting for a 0-0 draw between Derby and Bournemouth.

  • I'll be at Norths with no telly and since the Arse are at home, no pirate to tell me if we're losing.

  • Yeah, but then we have a favourable run of fixtures, while you have a tougher run.

Then in March we have Norwich, Boro, Wolves, Watford and Brentford in the space of 6 games. With our current bogey team Wigan being the only non-promotion contender we play in that four week period.

Actuallly, I see you have a similar run of fixtures at the same time. Ipswich (if the wheels get fixed back on), Derby, Bournemouth, Watford and Wolves. Peppered with Wigan and Conor Sammon's free-scoring Rotherham in between.

Bournemouth seemingly have the easiest run-in on paper, so you should be cheering us on tomorrow night...

  • I'll still shout for the draw. short term gratification and all that.

  • Looking forward to Liverpool v Tottenham on Tuesday night. Two attack minded teams go heading in the right direction. No bus parking, plenty of young English talent on show, no prima-donas. Could turn out to be the game of the season. I think Tottenham will win it 1-2

  • Everyone's talking 'bout the good old days.
