For Sale: Cannondale SuperSix Evo RED

  • I'm selling my 50cm 2012 Cannondale SuperSix EVO Red.

Full geometry is available on the Cannondale website here - but the main bits are SRAM Red shifting and braking, with an S951 crank (used for fitting a power meter, Taylor Phinney used to ride one) and PG-1070 (12-26) cassette and compact rings. Mavic Ksyrium Equipe S wheels with the proprietary Mavic tyres. Cannondale bars (very nice), stem (80mm ±10 degrees) and lightweight seatpost with a Fizik Antares on top.

It's absolutely wicked. The UK Parlee rep said it's the only frame he's ridden that's comparable in ride quality to a Parlee. I love it to pieces, but it's just slightly too big for me - I wrote a review of it for work if you want to hear me wax lyrics about it's better qualities...

Since these photographs I've taken the stickers off the Kyrsiums (weight saving, obviously) and put about 1500 miles on it. It's a bit dirty at the moment but there is no damage, scratches or significant wear to the bike, but I'll have it fully serviced at Kinoko Cycles (where I work) before I let it go; you'll barely be able to tell it from new.

If you want any more information, want to chat shit about carbon weave or generally talk bike: send me a PM. I'm always happy to natter about wheels or whatever.

Dropped to £2200 ONO - shipping is available, but might be quite expensive. Very happy to field offers and part-ex with sweet bits...

I had listed this on eBay before, but I only had jokers and dickheads; I would much rather a bike like this goes to someone who is going to appreciate it.

  • Have a bump!

  • Oooofff!

  • If this doesn't shift before Crimbo I'll take it off your hands when I get back to the UK. Appreciate this is totally useless info right now.

  • Bam. I'd be sweating a bit if I hadn't just bought an S2. Don't think there's a bike I'd rather own.

  • awesome valve caps.

  • Do you do finance? I would love this, but I can't drop that on a bike at the moment. Good luck with the sale.

  • good price for a great bike. About 5cm too small for me :)

  • awesome valve caps.

    Extra weight for hill-climb training.

  • Damn.

  • I could make the ultimate climber bike out of this.

Come on SF! I'll sell you my pedals too and you can have my entire road kit. I'll even chuck the bottle cages in for free.

For the record. If I was replacing the BMC. I'd buy this, and I'm not just saying that to be nice, and bump the thread.

    I do want it.

But I cant run 2 road bikes up here in this climate. I barely get to ride the BMC.

You can't ride the BMC because it's not specialised enough. Build that up for flat rides, and stick some American Classic mags on the Cannondale for a superlight hillclimber. It's already got a compact crankset, and you can fit a powermeter to get the best out of your elevation...

  • The BMC is set up as a flat/sprint bike. I'm just a bit of a bed wetter and need a compact crank. It just happens to be 6.5kg because I got carried away. Never really expected to get into climbing.

FWIW I'd probably put WW tubular rims on, as well as a powermeter, and a grown-up sized stem, and call it perfect.

But i'm looking to perfect the BMC, finish off the fatbike, and upgrade my SS29er.

Buy the Cannondale, switch the cranks out for the ones on your BMC, sell the wheels and you'll have a great frame and groupset to start with when you want to start on a bike for going steep.

I really need to shift this :(

  • £2,200 lure anyone in?

I really need to get it gone now.

  • £2,000!

My new bike is turning up and I am desperate for the cash.

It's been fully serviced by Kinoko and not ridden since, I'll also throw in some TIME ROC ATAC pedals and a Cateye Wireless cadence/speed computer gratis

  • is this bike still available?
