Weird how the other 2 BB's I've had in there have been tight like a tiger - I've thought of just perhaps using some simple PTFE tape as used in plumbing when there's loose threads to fill the gap?

ARRRGGGHHHH. Bloody mercian. Bought bike from them listed as 39-49.
frame shows up and there is no way the rear will take 50mm. More like 57mm. So means will have to sell the lovely chorus to match groupset and end up with Miche or something.GRRRR.

Don't necessary need Miche, you can get those lovely Velo Orange brakeset, Tektro or Shimano.

Everything going on is cinelli/campag. Mixing Italian/Japanese makes me a bit scratchy.
Whats the best 57mm? They Miche seem very cheap. Arent the Velo orange re branded tektro?

Saw those VO $170 for a brakeset? Mama mia.

I bet everything going on is cinelli/campag. Mixing Italian/Japanese makes you a bit scratchy.

Is mixing shimano with an italian groupset not a bit weird to anyone else.
Might just wack on debadged tektro r359's and swiss stops.
I feel like that weird woman from OCD cleaners now.

Waiting to get the stuck seatpost out of this and then I'll finish the build. Fixed at the moment but hopefully 1x8 or something in the near future. Also might get a larger rear cog and put the big ring on the cranks instead.

Just cut a disc of carbon from sheet, and stuck it on top of my steerer/bung. Not quite flush, but hey-ho...
