yep i hear you.
I put double sided spds on so i could get clipped in easily through town but on a course i will use better pedals. I will probably buy that same saddle to try. I experimented with the plastic one above to see if i could get away without padding and although shape is a very personal thing its not such a massive expense for the experiment and i only intend to do short rides.
It was chainline issues that put me off the campagnolo mirage crank conversion < need a rear hub to suit such a setup. Miche is listed at 635g without bb but if i run 3/32 chain and cogs instead of this kmc z510 1/8 i should drop a bit of weight in the drivetrain id have though. Ive got some chainrings in 144 from old sakae chainsets, not going fibrelyte just yet.
It just so happens that i have one conti supersonic 20mm which i bought for rather a bargain £15 from my LBS sale, need to find another.
considering a rear wheel built with one of these..comical name but listed at 148g .. wondered if anyone knew if theyre any good.
