We know that: look at the seatpost!

    :) xx

  • ; )

    Chesini Recordman

  • got enough Fixie skidders bikes so I'm toying with building the orlowski up as a period correct track pursuit bike.

Need to sort out the zipp disc.

Thinking italian parts and the zipps, probably 3T moscow bars or some kind of ITM/cinelli one piece.

The bike is currently just sitting here doing nothing, seems a shame.

  • You definitely need these!

  • Yeah those were on a lot of orłowskis back in the day.

We should have an old lopro track day at HH.

  • Im game

  • @IR Would be awesome to have the chance to use those deadly machines in the way they were designed for. Definitely in!

  • I once suggested the '10 minute hipster pursuit' for a HH track day, 8 evenly spaced starters, 10 mins, when you're caught you're out.... Any takers?

  • Sound fun but does mean getting there with 2 bikes and 3 wheelsets, tricky for those of us without cars :/

I think I was quoted £150 for an hour of private hire when I asked. That's £15 each if 10 show up. Could do some classic events.

  • This idea was carefully engineered to exclude you, as you'd beat me.... I have been known to ride a track bike and push a pursuit bike to HH, but when I was young the only traffic was horse-drawn.

  • traffic was horse-drawn.

How do they hold a pencil in their hooves?

    #Haveyoutriedtheveal?

  • Im be so down for some pursuits especially if I get the new build ready in time. Up for doing some sprints at least, an an attempt at the hour while we there too.. double discs etc.

    :-P

Lets just ask someone for a lift? or get some couriers to help up carry the extra wheels?

  • This could be the appropriate occasion to bring out the Moser (with the Somec as well).

  • Those are my exact ITM bars.

  • Pearson Track (NZ Olympic Track Frame).

  • need help/advice building this up! paints pretty good and got a full set of the decals the other day, also have front spok coming to me but now its the rear end I'm thinking about.
In-between just magic gearing it or getting track ends put on.

have many people magic geared their loproozz?? how long does chain last until it needs to be adjusted?

  • That is a nice fillet brazed frame and in my humble opinion needs gears, please don't kill it with a spok.

    Andy

  • thought i might add my Rychtarski to the lopro section.

(has different chainring and pedals now)

  • Do u have any pictures of it with the new radically rad cranks on?

  • i take it you've seen the close up? i dont have a full picture im afraid but im gonna take one on the DSLR tomorrow or something
