Ealing, central Ealing, (Broadway),
or
will West Ealing be OK?Persian Palace,
Very large standard portions of meat,
my son first thought he was grown up when he managed the lamb& chicken plate.Me, (non-meat eater),
they do an individual plate/meze of various slops,
including a 'special Persian onion ' based one.
The ayran/drinking yoghurt is home made and almost as good as
Turkish 'yayik ayran' (= almost wild ayran),
just on the edge of fermenting.Further down, past the traffic lights,
Lahore Karahi,
no ambiance,
but (I am told) tasty lamb & chicken to your chosen level of spice/chilli.
The dals and the aubergine dish are well cooked and tasty. Will make the ayran without milk, just yoghurt & water.
A decent cheap place to eat in Ealing? (Santa Maria is closed for a refurb).
One omnivore, one pescatarian.
