I was stopped by Canal and River Trust fund raiser the other day in islington. we had a chat. then he looked at my bike and asked "you must have a Japanese girlfriend?" and "you must be a hipster, you just need more beard". I said I don't have a girlfriend and definitely not a hipster. Then, he said he loves japan and the people and Yellow Magic Orchestra is his latest favourite band.

Have a feeling we will be in a pub/park by then, distance is only 22km.

Remember to bring a good lock, we are finishing around London Fields..

But if weather is good and people are feeling it I can also extend the ride 10-20kms quite easily.

Is it a ride only for cool kid with NJS or any fix gear welcome? I feel like a nice fun ride.

My portable speaker arrived today. this thing is powerful (so much bass). it can clip on my backpack. Music is sorted out i downloaded all songs posted earlier plus a couple of other current j-pop tunes.

there will be bubbles...there will be party popping....there will be face painting, snazaroo....there will be beer drinking. hello kitty are the only japanese themed cups i could find in wilko.
