A follow up to my close pass on the A38.
I had a phone call today from an officer at A&S who has spoken to the driver of the car that nearly hit me. The driver was very apologetic not just to the Police but also to me, which is nice. On the downside, he had no recollection of the incident at all.
I told the officer I was grateful for the apology, but worried by the fact that the incident did not even registered with the driver.
Maybe a call from the Police will make the driver more careful next time.... or maybe not.
