  • Those pipes look ace.

Can anyone recommend a quality open-face-with-visor helmet? Something like a Caberg Riviera or Shark SK. There's so much on the market; I need a recommendation.

Cheers. The only took 5 minutes to fit and sound so much nicer. Much throaty, very vroom. wow.

  • Not the most stylish but top quality, very comfortable and great wind protection. Arai x-tend type. I have a 3 year old one, very quiet, great all round vision, light and good protection. I've got 3 roof lids (roadster & boxer). They are noisy, the lining wears so they get loose and the visor whips air flow into your eyes. They do look good though ! :)

  • I use a Schuberth J1 - really comfy, very quiet and loads of light.

The only caveat is that the visor mechanism is a bit fragile (have had two break in the 5 years I've had the helmet). £68 for a new visor each time.!

  • Do you already have a visorless open face helmet?
I have a cheap Caberg one without a visor, and its fine with sunglasses in the summer, but I generally use it without as it really slows me down, and I need that push to keep my speed down on the way to work!
    Double safety?
