My current winter bike has quite a low front end and although great for fast ride rides I have found my self wishing for something more upright on longer climbs, also I'm doing this through work so it needs to be uk based ( luckily we can go over a grand- in fact up to 10! ) otherwise I'd definitely look at canyon or rose..
