The time has come to pass this on, I can no longer justify having this as a studio decoration piece, living over 100km from the nearest track. So here goes. A very pretty Colnago Mexico Pista with profiled top- and down tube, selling as a complete bike. Seat tube is 57.5cm c-t and top tube 57.5cm c-c. Condition is perfect, some small spots from use but no dings, dents or funny stuff. All bearings spin smoothly. Never rode the streets of course.
The details: I bought the frameset + headset, BB and chain from Van Tuyl in 2010, who had bought the entire stock of the Rabobank team (grown out of the Kwantum team etc.), including a couple of steel track bikes.
This is an original team frame in a unique colour. It might be the bike on the left of this pic shot at the Rotterdam Six Day race in 1987.
I built it back up as close to original spec as possible so it now has a full Campagnolo Pista gruppo except the BB which is a sealed Miche item. Bar and panto'd stem are 3ttt, saddle Concor.
