  • They're a bit pointless as they offer no insulation at all, and they aren't properly sealed.

    I bought a pair for me and the missus a while ago, thinking it would be a good idea, but if I make her coffee for the train, it's cold by the time she's on it (we only live 100m from the station too).
    Then you have this coffee cup which still has coffee dregs in, which you can either put in a bag and let the remainder of the cold coffee piss all over the contents of your bag, or you can carry it around like a lemon until you can wash/rinse/throw away in disgust.

    There were some other alternatives which @big_daddy_wayne pointed me at - made from double layered toughened glass, which actually keeps the coffee warm.

  • This is my main issue with the keep cup. I like the idea but wtf do I do with it once I've drunk my coffee? Mine is now a cup that I just use in work instead of a mug.

    to be honest i just began to dislike drinking coffee in the car / bus / train anyway.
    just get up a few minutes earlier, enjoy great, hot coffee out of a proper cup at home, then leave?
