Good win for us yesterday. Back from a 21-3 deficit to win 31-24. We got lucky with the timeout call which ruled out their touchdown with 5 mins left but i'll take it.
Shame I fell asleep on the sofa trying to watch until the end.

Trying to watch 49ers v arizona as the 49ers are my team. My eyes are bleeding trying to look at those horrible cardinals jerseys. They should just say fuck it and go for brown argyle.

So frustrated with the niners right now.
After three games their record is first half: 59 - 16, second half: 3-52. Producing a 1-2 record.
Kaepernick's running was a great weapon for the last 1.5 seasons, but this year it seems he's trying it too much. Gore rushes it every now and then, but given the number of interceptions and turnovers he seems reluctant to throw it, and ends up getting caught by the defence when he runs it. Too many sacks, and lost yards.
Newton and Wilson seem to run every now and then, as a surprise, but Kaepernick is too one dimensional so far. Not that he can take all the blame, the rest of the team need to ask some serious questions.

Not looking forward to the Eagles game next week, who have a 3-0 record, despite having conceded 78 points. I haven't seen them yet, but that must be some offence...

That second half was really hard to watch. People are trying to blame Kaep, but it really is everyone but him. Receivers with dumb penalties, once-bullied O-Line dude with chop blocks, horrible horrible defense.. It was rough.

I watched two really tight games this weekend. Bills - Lions, where the Lions missed a game winning kick with 26 seconds left, only for the Bills to score a 58 yard kick to win it.
Then KC and SF in a super close game after that, which could have gone either what. Kaepernick looked much more controlled and solid.

Well, that was a tough game to watch, the 49ers got destroyed by Manning. I stayed up to watch him get the record, then went to bed. They did get two touchdowns back, but still lost 17-42

Well, it's nice to wake up, and have a 9:30am game to watch. Wembley looking great in red, white and blue.
Fox's coverage is hilarious, Big Ben, black cabs, the Osbournes, and WANKER!

So we've made it to the NFC Championship game, this evening, despite Rogers having a pulled calf muscle.
I think we will be overrun by the seahawks but you never know.
Anyone else watching?

60kph winds apparently so the running game will be key. I'm calling it now…Beastquake 3
-
• #487
Paddy power odds have us to win at 14/5 and seahawks at 2/7.
Surely it's not that much of a foregone conclusion...!

Well Seattle beat them handily in week 1 at a time when Seattle were having problems so now that they're playing at their best...
-
• #489
Great start for us but we're going to regret not getting the two touchdowns.

Wow fake field goal to touchdown craziness! I was about to start watching Classic Albums

total playcall fail. unfathomable. Marshawn has 3 goes at half a yard and they pass it. Jeebus

I am genuinely annoyed about that play call, and I don't even like the Seahawks (nor the Patriots).
Why would you do that?

• #499
wow, the sponsor XLIX definately got their moneys worth
their brand was everywhere -

I don't think the play call was that crazy.
I'm not sure they would have been able to manage 3 runs in 20 seconds, maybe 2 runs and an incomplete pass... Do the pass first as the patriots will be setting up to stop the run.
Also you want the clock to go down far enough that the pat's wouldn't have a chance at a Hail Mary... Much easier to control with a throw than a run.
As long as the pass isn't an interception it makes good sense...
Frankly it was good defending that made it look like a silly idea, if that had been a touchdown pass (or even incomplete) no-one would have thought it a strange play to choose
AP deactivated, the whole Ray Rice thing, DeSean Jackson and the rest of the league being made of glass etc.
Fuck fantasy football.
