I skid on Veloflex Records, costs a lot and you have to bring 8 spare tyres on a ride but worth it for the sweet rolling resistance.

I guess you mean the folding ones are hard to mount? The wired ones are pleasingly sloppy to put on.
The other two things are negated by the skid resistance factor of 11. This is HHSB.
I have Veloflex Masters on my clincher TT rims and they roll fast as heck and weigh 190 grams. I once had to change two punctures on a 50.
