The idea of having to wrestle the bag on/off for 30-40 separate pu/drops a day is the one thing holding me back at the moment but it's probably just a matter of getting used to it. Suspect all the additional body contact area and perspiration will be an issue come high summer, might hold onto my pac and press it back into use then.
Please post back re how you get on with your holder issues. To date I've just gone with the radio unprotected in inner tubes supplemented with a shopping bag when it rains. I've seen a few couriers heat-treat their radio antennas so they point off at an angle away from the face but your company might not be too happy at that idea! Another option would be to place the radio in the holder upside down - again, I've seen a few couriers do this and it doesn't seem to affect the signal.
