Not to sound a douche but I think using a modded P5 would of brought him a bit closer to the record. Brandle and Jens were both on converted Scott's and Treks respectively

Is a UCI-legal P5 actually faster than a T4? I suspect that most of the improvement from P4 to P5 came from the nose-cone and deep fork, neither of which is UCI-legal.

The tube shapes are a lot deeper on he P5 than the T4. Meaning there would of been at least some are advantage. An I thing without a brake you could of used the Tri fork(it's uci illegal because of the brake cover not being structural)
