Thanks folks. The PX is a little bit overkill TBH and I really want proper guards after the scrape scrape of crud racers. Would like a little more traditional than the Arkose, I'll do longish rides and chain gang on it, although I haven't ruled out cx style stuff. The Dolomite - interesting, I'll take a closer look.
