How many days should I leave
I dropped mine in a toilet in canada once.
Left it in rice, also found lots of those "DO NOT EAT" silicon things which soak up damp.
Left it for 3 days also try under warm lamp.
Came back to life!Still going strong, it's an iphone 4 too! ancient.

That's great! Am going to try it again tomorrow. Apparently the chances are lower if device is on when it gets wet.

How many days should I leave my iPhone (which fell in a puddle) in its rice bag before giving up on it or opening it up and trying various things what I read on the internet?
FFS, I should stick to edible apple varieties, and not own expensive Apple electronics that I will ultimately break and not be able to replace.
