  • Absolutely stunning morning. Sunrise is now just as I am leaving the house. Loved the low-lying mist and frosty grass in Victoria Park.

Got to work a little early, popped across the road for espresso and jam doughnut. Doughnut lasted 6 1/2 flights of stairs.

    10/10

  • Lovely ride in, 9/10, cold/dry make for awesome scenery.

Rapha Winter Jersey and base layer is perfect for -5.

  • Loved the low-lying mist and frosty grass in Victoria Park.

    Oh aye.

  • Regretted the rights and soft shell 2 mins into the journey. Hot and windy. Would try again

  • Usual stuff in London Town morning commute, though strangely it was very heavy traffic before Old Street roundabout.

Though the most surprising and annoying thing this morning was how warm it was this morning and over dressed I was thinking it was like last week! Rode 15mins into my ride and I was definitely overheating! Epic fail!

    3/10

  • Sore back.

  • Spotted a tag-along tandem trike near Byng Place this morning. Amazing and I want one, even with no kids to use it.

  • Regretted the rights

  • Too many layers.
    Sore back. Sore legs.
    Ran hot.

  • tweaked the clothing situation, didn't mind running a little hot in the morning as it's always colder in the evening.
Looking forward to it getting chillier later in the week, when the layer choice is taken out of my hands and its all about keeping as warm as possible.

  • First ride back after a week off was so/so. Remembered why I love cycling to work also remembered why I hate it. First 2 miles was horrid some really bad driving a number of very close passes and abuse from a very angry white van man.

Still better than getting the train.

  • I reckon it's always warmer in the evening.

  • Nice ride in, no jacket required, packed some extra layers in anticipation of a chillier evening. #winning... I'm/here

  • Now that's a good score.

Dressed for rain, got none so too warm. Listened to ABBA all the way and sang a bit too. Would repeat.

  • Cracking ride in for me. Slightly drizzly. Caught up with a fixie skidder from work and chatted for 5 or 6 miles. 8/10.

  • nice mild ride home spoilt by dickheads speeding and revving in 20mph zones. 6/10

  • Used an alternate route that's more or less the same length but green lane/thornton heath ways instead of A23 norbury ways. Undecided which is nicer, the A23 has better lighting and while more busy regular traffic lights mean you don't get fast passes often/ever, green lane is a bit darker and you won't make it from one end to the other without half a dozen speeding drivers zooming past(40mph in a 30mph is my guess). Mixed emotions but would ride again. 8/10

  • Came in about an hour earlier than usual this morning, so caught the rush-hour peleton.

Fuck me. It's no surprise we're hated.

  • we? hated by who?

  • People, and I hate the lot of you.

  • First non-geared commute in about 2 months. Did a pre-ride check on newly rebuilt biek last night but failed to check mudguard bolts. Lost one on the way, causing rubbage.

    Time/mind

  • Most satisfying ride in for AGES thanks to a fresh set of Campagnolo cables and not the generic SHIT Mosquito stuck on (badly)

  • Unfortunately some turbocunny on a shitty old roadie nearly crashed into the back of me on Old St just before the roundabout then had a go at me for going too slow. Almost certainly not on here but if you are you're a bell cheese and ride like a bell cheese.
