I have no emotional attachment to the Wound-Ups, they were the only disc fork available when I bought the bike in 2009. I'd like to be able to run mudguards on it now, so I think the easiest thing to do is buy new forks and sell the Wound-Ups. The Kinesis forks look fine, was just curious if there was anything else I should consider.
I'm not sure I'd trust QR mounted eyelets either. Not sure why, a gut instinct thing.
