OK... the big difference between the club and pro jerseys is this:
The pro jersey is made from a greater number of panels of fabric.
Which allows Milltag to ensure the fit is better, and more importantly allows them to change the fabric used in certain places.
In the pro jersey the under-side of a sleeve is a different fabric to help wicking and be more comfortable, and so on for all of the jersey.
Those differences also lead to the subtle design differences: Note the pro jersey design only has the sleeve end colour around the lower half of the sleeve, and that it's thinner. The design is hinting at the fact that the jersey itself is made from more cuts of fabric.
That's the essence of it: club jersey = 1 fabric and fewer cuts, pro jersey = many types of fabric and a greater number of cuts.
The argued benefits are things like aero (I doubt it) and comfort (extra wicking underarm? sounds good).
The club jersey is a damn good default, but the pro jersey is definitely of higher quality construction and material.
So can anyone help me read between the lines on the relative merits of the two versions? Is the Pro one really much better?
