If you're getting a cocker, make sure it's show stock not working stock if it's to be a companion. My working cocker, Stella, is a small thermo-nuclear device with a paw at each corner.....

Say hi to Rudy.
I haven't had a dog since I was a kid, so I'm sure the next few months are going to be a bit hectic!

Sweet. dibs, difficult to tell if he's a doberman or a sausage dog when they're that size. But dogs are ace.

I'm biased, of course, but Rudy is the best name for a dog.
Pup's cute as hell.

He's a miniature dachshund.... A Doberman would be bigger than me when fully grown!
He's not ready to bring home for another two weeks... But at least that gives us some time to prepare ourselves! -

He's amazingly cute, they're great dogs (going on 25 year old memories here, but they're happy ones).

Crappy mobile phone photo of Herbie at 9 months. He's definitely going through his "teenage" phase. Very strong willed and determined, a strong prey drive, great with the family and starting to get really protective of the house. Upping exercise to an hour and a quarter in the morning and around 20 minutes in the evening, which is good for me too...

We got through a lot of wee-wee mats (not sure of technical name but the wife called them that and it stuck) in the first couple of months. Those and kitchen roll.
Once he is able to go take him to the puppy courses or park so he gets used to other dogs.
Cute looking dude though @hoops

Cute pup rob.
Tips: crate train him, feed him raw and don't let him up on furniture, bed, lap, etc.

Really?;) small dogs are different.
Any ideas on how to get my two lazy arsed cats to use the newly installed cat flap. They seem to have half a brain between them, one goes out of the cat flap quite happily but is yet to work out how to get back in. The other point blank refuse to go out through it but is happy as Larry to come back through it.
