Flite + inline post is wrong

it's not that it might look wrong, it is wrong. flite has been made for setback posts, hence the rails at the back of the saddle.

but i also think is looks wrong. :)

Actually flites originally were much more used on mtb, where the inline posts are more common.
If the rails on flites are moved backwards doesn't mean you "need" a setback post, otherwise it's like getting a negative angle stem and then put some spacers under it :)

mtb seat tubes are pretty slack though

That's what I meant, it's all about where the rider wants to be positioned over his/her bike.
Then of course, it can look odd ;)
